We are in search of a HR Assistant to join our team, located in Staten Island, New York. This role is integral to our industry, offering an exciting opportunity for the right individual. As an HR Assistant, you will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities, from recruitment to employee engagement, all while ensuring compliance and maintaining confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct recruitment efforts, ensuring a steady influx of potential candidates
• Review and screen resumes to identify suitable applicants
• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company
• Facilitate strong relationships with new hires, providing necessary support
• Promote employee engagement through various initiatives
• Organize and plan company events to foster a positive company culture
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, providing timely and appropriate responses
• Manage confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism
• Utilize ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for various HR functions
• Ensure compliance with regulations, including FMLA
• Foster strong employee relations, resolving any issues that may arise
• Leverage Ceridian and Dayforce for benefit functions.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now is necessary
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is highly desirable
• Familiarity with Ceridian is a must
• Proficient in using Dayforce
• Demonstrated experience in Benefit Functions
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong understanding of compliance regulations and standards
• Proven ability in managing Employee Relations
• Experience with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) procedures and policies is required
