Job Summary:

The IT and HHR Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our casino's technology infrastructure. This position provides comprehensive support for a diverse range of hardware and software, including: HHR EGMs (Historical Horse Racing, Electronic Gaming Machines), CMS (Casino Management System), Casino IT networks, personal computers (PCs), Ticket Redemption and ATM machines, audio/visual (AV) equipment, surveillance system, access control systems and point-of-sale (POS) systems. This position will work closely with the casino management team and 3rd party vendors, ensuring a well-functioning and reliable technological infrastructure for the casino.

Responsibilities: HHR EGMs: Lead the installation and movement of HHR EGMs (Historical Horse Racing, Electronic Gaming Machines). Coordinate vendors, regulatory process and connect machines to the casino CMS (Casino Management System) Assist as needed on fixing issues that may arise on HHR EGMs Retire HHR EGMs as needed CMS: Become familiar with the CMS (Casino Management System) Setup and maintain up to date HHR EGMs data in the CMS Assist in running reports as needed for G2 Gaming Staff and 3rd party partners Setup and configure CMS tools such as floor maps and jackpot notifications Casino IT Network: Set up and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, access points and wiring. Work with vendors to ensure best practices are followed for security and compliance. Maintain accurate documentation of network layout and devices including configurations and passwords. Monitor network and device performance. Make recommendations for improvements. Guarantee reliable connectivity for all casino operations. Personal Computers (PCs):

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PCs, keeping them performing optimally. Ticket Redemption and ATM Machines:

Maintain functionality, address issues and work with 3rd party vendors on installs and upgrades. Audio/Visual (AV) Equipment:

Maintain TVs, cable feeds, media players, and sound systems. Work with the marketing team and casino staff to ensure these systems meet operational needs. Surveillance Systems:

Support the security team by ensuring camera and recording systems are functional and comply with regulatory requirements. Point-of-Sale (POS) Systems:

Install and maintain POS systems in the casino. Collaborate with the accounting department to provide reports and troubleshoot any POS issue that may arise. Access Control Systems:

Work with security to ensure these systems function effectively and securely. Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a related IT support role. Strong understanding of network infrastructure and administration. Proficient in troubleshooting PC hardware and software issues. Experience with installing and supporting various software programs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience in a casino or hospitality environment a plus. Network certifications preferred. Benefits:
