Telecommunications Analyst 3
Provides technical assistance in support and preparation of telecom technologies, primarily focused on telecommunications infrastructure management, deployment, and maintenance. Requires working knowledge of and experience with networking, mobile, desk phones, and desktop technologies including, but not limited to, desktop applications, smart phones (iOS), VoIP, and PBX telecom systems. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team. In- state, day travel in State-owned vehicles is expected. Occasional long hours are possible, but limited. This is a 100% remote position with office visits as needed. Applicants must reside
within the State of Wisconsin.
The DOC telecom group manages:
Cisco infrastructure and endpoints
• Mitel VoIP PBX and ACD
•
Telecommunication Company management Smart phone support
Airwatch
• Apple Business Management
Video conferencing account management
Minimally qualified applicants must have:
Working knowledge of Telecommunication concepts such as SIP, H323 and other VoIP technologies
• Working knowledge of Networking concepts
Experience with Cisco phones and infrastructure
DOC requires background checks to be performed internally.
This position will have minimal travel but it may be necessary for some projects. No overnight travel expected.

Position overview: Looking for an experienced Telecommunication Analyst to continue our support for our business partners and people in our care. This individual will be assisting with supporting and installing telephones, cellphones and other video conferencing solutions.
Required Skills & Years of Experience: 2-5 Years
Video Conferencing infrastructure and endpoints management
• Unified Communications Systems (Webex, PBX, ACD, etc)
• Mobile device support and Management
Networking Concepts (CUBE, Client, SIP, H323, VoIP, etc)
Preferred vendor Experience:
Cisco
Mitel
Zoom

AirWatch
Apple Business Management
Microsoft
Required soft skills:
Ability to work independently but in a team environment-
Able to meet deadlines
Punctual
Ability to multi-task and balance their work day
Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and determine a solution
Duration: 2-year contract with possibility for extension
