Our team is looking for a Program Manager - Bids and Proposals to join them. You will report to the Site Lead and will have an onsite work structure in Plainview, NY.

To be considered for the Program Manager - Bids and Proposals opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or Economics
  • 8+ years of relevant government, contracts, and/or proposal lifecycle experience
  • Manufacturing/production industry experience
  • Familiarity with U.S. Federal Government agencies and/or procurement processes
  • Experience with US Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs/DFARs)


As a Program Manager - Bids and Proposals, you will:
  • Review and select government sales opportunities and/or solicitations based off capability, competition, history, and expertise
  • Estimate labor, material costs, and profitability associated with new business ventures
  • Manage the full lifecycle of proposals: analyze requests, prepare responses, and collaborate effectively with SMEs as necessary
  • Manage the team through a stage gate process throughout the proposal lifecycle
  • Drive Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance, to achieve a common goal
  • Thoroughly understand manufacturing processes, products, and procedures
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with Government customers
  • Stay current with market dynamics, including competition, pricing, and lead times
  • Ensure that proposals meet requirements and U.S. Government compliance standards
  • Implement actions to improve process efficiency, including implementing, maintaining, and reporting on metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Develop plans for attaining new business
  • Lead continuous improvement projects
  • Build relationships with government and commercial customers, for resolving issues
    and improving contract win rates
  • Perform other duties as-needed and as-assigned
  • Travel to customers and events as-needed

Salary Range:
  • $120,000-145,000/year, based on experience
