This is a hybrid position at our Des Moines, IA office.

What we're looking for:

SHAZAM is looking for a HR Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to employees and management. This position works closely and collaboratively with others to integrate solutions, processes, procedures, and policies to enhance consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness across the organization.

What you'll do:

  • Serve as an internal business partner to employees and management. Analyze and provide counsel on methods and approaches to resolve employee relation issues and concerns.
  • Provide HR expertise in all areas of HR, including but not limited to employee relations, feedback, coaching and development, compensation, and employment law.
  • Responsible for management of the Company's compensation program.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal compliance regulations (i.e., Affirmative Action, EEO-1, CA Pay Data, etc.), including preparing and filing required annual reports, data analysis, and action planning.
What you need:
  • 7+ years HR generalist experience, including but not limited to employee relations, investigations, compensation, and employment law.
  • Strong analytical process improvement and problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated HR skills, professional demeanor, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
