Position Overview The Kwek Society seeks its first paid Part-Time Executive Director (20-25 hours/week) to lead the organization's next phase of growth. This position will transition leadership from our founder while maintaining our strong commitment to Indigenous communities and expanding our impact. The role requires regular presence in our Washington, D.C.-area (Alexandria, Va.) warehouse to engage in hands-on inventory and mail-out of donated and ordered period supplies, with the help of volunteers, and the ability to manage and expand upon nationwide programs and partnerships. Strategic Leadership & Vision

Guide strategic planning and execution for organizational growth Maintain and strengthen TKS's commitment to Indigenous communities Ensure programmatic excellence and quality within part-time capacity Develop and maintain relationships with Tribal Nations Support the organization's transition from founder-led to professional leadership Program Management & Growth

Coordinate distribution network serving 220+ partners across 20 states Oversee warehouse operations and logistics, including hands-on work of supply ordering, inventorying, packaging and mail out Maintain and nurture partner relationships Support period education and traditional teachings initiatives Oversee annual budgets upward of $500,000 including cash and in-kind Maintain relationships with vendors for in-kind donations Review bookkeeping and financial reporting Maintain relationships with foundations, Native Nations, and individual donors Ensure compliance with 501(c)(3) requirements Coordinate with contractors (social media, grants, web, bookkeeping) Work with volunteer network (currently 56+ volunteers) Collaborate with nine-member Board of Directors Community Relations & Advocacy

Serve as primary spokesperson and ambassador Maintain tribal relationships Support menstrual equity advocacy Oversee communications and donor acknowledgment Coordinate newsletter production with volunteers Qualifications Required

Demonstrated knowledge of, and commitment to, Indigenous communities Excellence in organizational management Experience in fundraising and donor relations Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with Indigenous communities Based in or willing to relocate to D.C./Maryland/Virginia area Valid driver's license and ability to travel Qualifications Preferred

Experience with distribution/logistics management Knowledge of period poverty and menstrual equity issues Grant writing and management experience Knowledge of Tribal Nations sovereignty and governance Experience with founder transitions Background in public health or education Working Conditions

Part-time position (20-25 hours per week) Regular presence required at DMV-area warehouse for physical work of inventorying and packing supplies Flexible scheduling available Some travel required to partner sites and tribal communities Occasional evening/weekend work for events and programs Must be able to lift and move boxes of supplies Compensation

Competitive salary commensurate with experience (range: $40,000 to $45,000 annually for this part-time position) Pro-rated benefits package to be developed Flexible work arrangements where possible To Apply
