The successful candidate will play a key role in defending employers against a wide range of employment-related claims and providing comprehensive legal counsel. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with a background in employment law to grow within a respected firm while working on complex and challenging cases. Duties: Litigate and defend lawsuits involving various employment-related claims and agency charges. Provide employers with legal advice, training, and counsel on labor and employment law matters. Represent clients in court or arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediations on employment issues such as: Class/collective actions Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims Wage and hour disputes Employment contract disputes Non-compete and employment tort cases Handle cases involving complex class actions or Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) matters (experience preferred, but not required). Requirements: 4-6 years of experience in employment law, with a strong background in litigation. Current admission to the California Bar, with good standing. Strong knowledge of federal and state agency procedures related to labor and employment law. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school with strong academic credentials. Certifications: An active member of the California Bar. Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills. Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to professionalism and collegiality.
