We are collaborating with a well-established and respected law firm in Newport Beach, CA, specializing in estate planning, trust administration, and probate law. Position Overview: We are looking for an attorney with 2+ years of experience in estate planning and trust administration to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.), assisting with trust administration, and representing clients in probate proceedings. You will work closely with clients to develop customized estate plans, ensuring their goals are met while providing ongoing legal support. Key Responsibilities: Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Advise clients on estate planning strategies, tax implications, and asset protection. Assist with trust administration, including the preparation of trust accounting and distributions. Manage and maintain a diverse caseload of estate planning matters. Attend client meetings and communicate legal advice in a clear, client-friendly manner. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in the California State Bar. 2+ years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate law. Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-net-worth estate planning. Familiarity with tax planning, including estate and gift tax strategies. Experience with charitable giving and planned giving strategies. Prior experience with probate litigation is a plus.
