This position performs custodial activities in any of the 15 buildings that UAS Facilities Services Custodial Group is responsible for. These facilities include shops, labs, learning spaces, and offices.
To thrive in this role, the applicant must be willing to work evenings, and have the ability to provide a high level of service to students, staff, faculty, and campus visitors.
Minimum Qualifications:
The applicant must have custodial experience, or custodial-related experience and the aptitude to quickly learn to perform custodial tasks safely, as well as an Alaska Drivers License and clean driving record in compliance with UA Safe Driving Criteria.
Must be able to lift or move up to 50lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Demonstrate sufficient written communication skills and the ability to follow written instructions.
Position Details:
This position is located on the Juneau campus in Juneau, Alaska. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. Salary Information: MSW3 /Step 1 $19.71/hr. (See Article 9.2 in the L6070 Collective Bargaining Agreement, Wage Grade Schedule).
