Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Quality Engineer opportunity at Ellsworth Adhesives. This role reports into our KitPackers Division located in Germantown, WI. The ideal candidate would be able to work on-site at our facility in Germantown.

KitPackers is a GROWING industry leading packager of high-end adhesives for the aerospace, defense, technology, and automotive industries. You will investigate and resolve internal and external quality incidents and provide support for the Quality Notification process. Additionally, you will participate in the development and execution of streamlined manufacturing processes to resolve identified or potential quality-related risks.

Responsibilities

Investigates root cause and implements corrective/preventive actions to resolve internal or external customer complaints related to material or processing issues for a Business Unit(s) Analyzes production, test data and internal specifications to support new product commercialization and optimize first pass acceptance of established formulations Assigns in-process batch adjustments, updates batch tickets, and scales production batches to meet product performance specifications Dispositions non-conforming material, including participation in the deviation process, and assesses costs, responsibility, and corrective action Administers the calibration program and ensures compliance to standards, making recommendations to change equipment and/or the calibration schedule Perks & Benefits

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a Quality or Engineering-related function Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Potential to use strong analytical skills to synthesize complex information to maximize efficiencies while mitigating risk Good customer services skills demonstrated by responding promptly to customers and soliciting feedback Ability to influence and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams Good verbal and written communication skills
