Salary:

$27-$32/hour (Negotiable, depending on experience) plus health benefits, 401k with match, mileage reimbursement, and more.

Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Technical Support Engineer with a mix of technical expertise and customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, a willingness to learn, and be comfortable interacting with clients through various communication channels (phone, email, in person, virtually). This role requires both independent and collaborative work to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

Investigate user technical problems, identify the source, determine potential solutions, and implement them as needed. Collaborate with the NOC team to assist with network security, basic VPN configuration, host security, file permissions, file system integrity, and user management (adding/removing users). Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, Windows networks, file servers, network cabling, and other related equipment. Perform upgrades and configuration of disk drives, printers, and other peripherals. Follow up on tickets and ensure timely resolution and proper closure of all incidents. Create accounts and configure hardware as part of the onboarding process when necessary.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Proficiency with Windows XP and newer versions, Mac OS X, Microsoft Office & Outlook, and Adobe software. Experience with Active Directory maintenance and Exchange File Servers. Familiarity with Mac and PC hardware, printers, scanners, and mobile devices (iOS/Android). Intermediate knowledge of network connectivity (Wi-Fi/wired, Ethernet, TCP/IP, VPN). Experience troubleshooting modern Windows, Apple, and mobile device operating systems, hardware, and peripherals. Strong troubleshooting, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Passionate about resolving issues and completing tasks. Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users. Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel to different locations as required. Proficiency in English (both written and verbal). Successful completion of a background check is required.
