SQA Engineer:
This position involves the testing of hardware product and software control of Ion Implanter developed for wafer processing produced by Axcelis Technologies. The ideal candidate has a strong background working on complex electro-mechanical system, and product testing.
Job Requirement:Work in a team environment to review requirement and designDevelop and validate test case matrices that cover all hardware and software requirements with focus on customer use case.Develop and validate HW and SW installation procedure for release to internal and external customers.Operate Ion Implant equipment and Simulator system to perform hardware and software validation, and utilizing various test methodologies, tools, and applications.Perform thorough investigation of issues that arises during testing, identify root cause, and formulate containment, corrective, and preventive actions.Generate detailed daily report that captures all test results, as well as issues found.Document issues in a Defect Tracking system with a clear and concise problem statement, root cause, supporting data & log files, and provide steps to reproduce and expected behavior.Work in a clean room environment wearing a full clean room suite, and following clean protocol.Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
Excellent verbal and writing skills with attention to details for reporting test results.Great analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills for hardware and software failures.Ability to recognize equipment malfunction or operating problems, and provide detail report.Knowledge of High-Voltage & High Current Power Supplies, High Vacuum System, Electro Mechanical Robots, and Hardware communication protocols.Knowledge reading electrical schematic, and mechanical assembly drawing to perform installation and validation.Experience using Multimeter, Oscilloscope, and Various Hand toolsExperience soldering electronic components, and crimping electrical wires.Knowledge of the following is a plus:
Semiconductor Ion Implant Equipment or related Semiconductor equipmentSemiconductor Industry Processes and StandardsSemiconductor Factory Automation SECS/GEM SEMI StandardElectrical and Mechanical Design StandardsSW Programming Language: C, C++, C#, Unix
Travel Requirement:
Up to 10% travel: Domestic and International.Education:
