Acquisition Analyst (Mid)

The Acquisition Analyst (Mid) will assist with program management of contracts and finances in IWS with US and FMS positions:
• Provide overall Defense Acquisition System (DAS) support. Familiarity with Adaptative Acquisition Framework (AAF) Pathways, e.g. Major Capability Acquisition Pathway• Provide procurement support, SPS experience, Create and maintain purchase requisition (PR) packages• Create and maintain acquisition documents Acquisition plans, Class Justification & Approvals (CJA), Statement of Works (SOWs)• Support program baseline and scheduling activities create and maintain hardware (HW) procurement scheduleso Develop presentations, meeting minutes, letter and memoranda and tracking action items• FMS contract generation, award and management• Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required• Track funds retrieved through the Management Information System for International Logistics (MISIL) financial database as the standard method of payment for FMS• Develop presentations, meeting minutes, letter and memoranda and tracking action items
Required Skills and Experience
• Experience with DoD Acquisition Category (ACAT) IC, ACAT II, and non-ACAT/component of ship acquisition programs. Experience with acquisition milestone and acquisition planning documentation development and compliance review, program execution monitoring and reporting, and performance and/or financial statement audits-• Knowledge of applicable statutory and regulatory milestone and decision point information requirements e.g. DoD Instruction 5000.85, Major Capability Acquisition (MCA), Department of Navy (DoN) SECNAV Instruction 5000.2G, Department of the Navy Implementation of the Defense Acquisition System and the Adaptative Acquisition Framework• Knowledge of applicable Program Reporting requirements, including Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), Selected Acquisition Report (SAR), DoN Gate Review, etc.• Knowledge of program compliance and analysis, Quick turn-around response for ta calls• Knowledge of NEPS, ability to track Allocations, obligations, expenditures• Must have Acquisition and Contract Experience• Knowledge of FMS Case phases (Pre-LOR, LOA Development, Case Execution, and Case Closure) i.e. cradle to grave Case Management• Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales management and financial systems, including MISIL• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 - intermediate to advance Excel and PowerPoint; Teams - e.g. One Note, Wiki, Power Automate; and SharePoint• Good communication skills
This is a hybrid role, three days onsite.
