Job Description
Assist the Director of Ringhaver Student Center in with providing event and operation services at the Commons
Responsibilities
Event ServicesEvent technology set up/ tear downEvent furniture set up/ tear downOn-site assistance during events including troubleshooting technology, adjusting technology, hosting, adjusting event furniture, taking attendance, and limited oversightBuilding and Lounge ServicesStocking lounge equipmentPatrolling building to report building and safety issues that need to be addressedTroubleshooting technology issues in the loungesRearranging lounge furnitureSubmitting electronic shift reportOpening tasks, including unlocking rooms, turning on lights, and putting out equipment into its proper location in the loungesClosing tasks, including locking rooms, turning off equipment, room schedule sheet changing, and putting away equipmentLounge attendance countingInventoryPreparing lounge items and event items for storageMoving lounge items and event items into the correct location within storage areasQualifications
Required QualificationsMust be a full-time Flagler College studentPreferred QualificationsPrevious work or volunteer experience that involved eventsPrevious work or volunteering experience that involved talking to customers in person
Physical DemandsAbility to lift 50 poundsAbility to push carts full of equipmentWalking or standing during events can last as long as 1 hourSome shifts include working outside events
