Responsible for driving Comtech’s new business revenue in APAC and must supervise, motivate and manage the APAC sales team, distributors and resellers to boost the company’s revenues and profits.Responsibilities

The Regional VP of Sales is responsible for directing and managing sales of all Comtech Satellite and Space products and services to customers in Asia Pacific (APAC).Develop new business opportunities for company products and lead the way to enter new market verticals.Set quarterly and annual goals for each salesperson and provide a plan to management on how regional and individual sales goals will be achieved for each fiscal year and provide monthly/quarterly update on achievement of goals.Establish direct and indirect channels and partners to grow company’s revenues and profits.Provide bookings forecast and performance analysis for sales team and region to management.Keep track of competitor activities in the region and formulate win strategies against competitors.Coordinate with the marketing department to launch marketing promotions and distribution programs.Build key customer relationships and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base.Build a 5-year strategic plan for APAC, formulating a strategy for revenue and profitability growth for the company.Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of sales or business development experience in the Satcom industry.Minimum 6 years of experience at a sales leadership position.Experience leading a team of sales professionals with setting of quarterly and annual sales targets.Excellent leadership skills, to be a role model for employees ability to motivate team.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Analytical and networking skills.Basic knowledge of satcom industry and satellite modem and RF technology.Sales experience with the US Department of Defense is a strong plus.Knowledge of Salesforce is a strong plus.Travel 40% to 50% in APAC.Comtech Telecommunications Corp. is an equal opportunity employer.
