The M365 Core Design Studio is looking for a Senior Product Designer with experience in envisioning and shaping products through experience prototypes that span a broad range of digital products and services. Demonstrating the ability to work closely with product partners, stakeholders, and end users, this designer profoundly understands user needs and product requirements.

In this role you will build on these, and in partnership with other designers, create code-based prototypes that help to drive the product vision forward. Youare responsible fordriving a well-articulated and compelling design perspective that can motivate a wide range of product stakeholders through a high-ambiguity, multi-partner environment to achieve a common outcome.

As a Senior Product Designer, your design perspective is shaped by a closeness to prototyping – sketching in software, designing by building. You should be as comfortable talking frameworks and stacks as about interfaces and audiences.

Responsibilities

Work withamultidisciplinary and cross productteamsto deliver beautiful end-to-end user experiences across multiple screensWork with design teams to develop strategies for quickly prototyping key design features and build robust prototypes to test with users.Use prototyping as a method of hypothesizing, experimenting and driving designs forward, not merely to assess finalized designs.Investigate new technologies and keep abreast of modern techniques for building and prototyping applications.Drive a variety of design sprints and jam sessions with v-teampartnersDesign systemsthinker/driverWork within and help evolve designprocessesthat promote collaboration,transparency,andagilityDesign to high quality standards, follow processes, and deliver on scheduleHelp develop and refine UI pattern libraries and design guidelinesStay current on design trends, technologies, and tools, and incorporate them into the design team's work asappropriate.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in product or service designOR Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service designOR equivalent experience (e.g. A demonstrable track record of creating interaction prototypes, games or products).5+ years creating high-fidelity coded prototypes using React or equivalent technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity using CSS animations, and/or animation libraries like Framer Motion.Experience working with data APIs, and incorporating live data into prototypes.Experience leading projects,teamsand products end-2-end with multidisciplinary partners.Interaction design skills with the ability to design quality graphical user interfaces.Current understanding ofmoderntechnology, know the constraints, be willing to push the limits and apply creative solutions that result in great userexperience.Ability to prototype design concepts in a variety of tools, at appropriate fidelity for the task.Ability to produce elegant and easily understood diagrams, wireframes, and other artifactsExperience in AI orLarge Language Models(LLM)Experienceparticipatingin the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applicationsAbility to present cohesive design approaches to a non-design audience (including business,productand technology teams)Ability to create information architecture diagrams, wireframes and screen flowsAbility to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines

Product Design IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
