Opening 100+ stores over the last 5 years, the talent and dedication within our close-knit group combined with consistent collaboration allows us to maintain a fast-paced schedule and accomplish our goals. Successful members of our team are observant and passionate.About the Role:The Design Manager oversees a team of external architects, engineers, sign vendors, and specialty design consultants to bring the Grocery Outlet store to life. This position is responsible for ensuring design, production and permits are completed on time and budget while upholding brand standards.Responsibilities Include:Create design deliverables with consulting teams for real estate committee meetings including fixture plans, elevations, signage, and due diligence reports.Schedule and manage all phases of design production and permitting for architects, engineers, and sign vendors.Thorough review of all issued sets to uphold brand standards and adhere with lease language.Thorough due diligence of each site and strong understanding of LOI and lease terms.Ability to identify variance opportunities and manage specialist consultants to seek variances for design restrictions and signage opportunities.Internal coordination between all pertinent cross functional team members to ensure the success of each project.External design and permit coordination with landlords and jurisdictions having authority to ensure success of each project.About The Pay:Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 AnnuallyAnnual Bonus ProgramEquity401(k) Profit SharingFinal compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.About You:3-5 years working at an Architecture or Interior Design firm. Retail experience preferred.Working knowledge of AutoCad and REVIT.Adobe Suite knowledge is a bonus.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Team player who is willing to put in the extra effort to achieve results.10% travel for planning and zoning meetings as well as store field visits.
