Job Description

** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced GIS Tech to fill a two- year assignment in the Atlanta, GA area.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Rates: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Depending on experience.

Per diem is offered if you qualify.

Requirements:

Diploma or certificate in Geographical Information Systems or related curriculum.

2-4 Years Experience in a related field.

2-4 Years working with GIS software, tools and databases

· Manage routine GIS tasks, including data management and map creation ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

· Create maps and other visual representations using GIS tools.

· Ensure timely updates to GIS databases.

· Collaborate with GIS Analysts on complex projects.

· Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies.

· Provide input on GIS tool enhancements.
