Product Manager - Integrated PaymentsOverview:

Every day, Clover powers payments services for hundreds of thousands of merchants in multiple countries around the world. Behind the scenes, we operate a cloud platform providing payment processing, storage, and collaboration for merchants, application developers, service providers, and our merchants' customers. Our devices and platform form the backbone of millions of payment interactions between merchants and their customers daily. We’ve built a reputation as a leading innovator by being first to market with important new payments capabilities, such as Apple Pay, Alipay, and Venmo at the point of sale.What does a great Product Manager for Integrated Payments do?

As a Product Manager for Integrated Payments, you’ll be responsible for managing the collection of integration products that Clover provides to partners seeking to combine their hardware and software products with Clover payment devices to form payment solutions tailored to specific vertical markets. Clover currently collaborates with hundreds of integrated software vendor (ISV) partners in a diverse array of markets, such as sports stadiums, nightclubs, medical offices, and specialty retail. You’ll be responsible for understanding both the business and technical requirements of our ISV partners, creating product plans to satisfy those requirements, and delivering our payment integration products so they can be consumed by a wide range of partners. You’ll have the opportunity to work in one of the fastest growing segments of the payments industry, and with a wide range of interesting ISV partners. You’ll help drive the development and commercial launch of products, help create product marketing materials, educate various sales channels about new features, and contribute to winning large deals.This role requires you to be technically conversant in the computing platforms commonly used by third-party point-of-sale systems, such as Windows, Android, iOS, Java, and JavaScript. You will work closely with third-party developers, and must be comfortable with the technical aspects of SDKs and integration technologies. At the same time, you must have an ability to think strategically about our partnerships and how they relate to Clover’s overall business. In addition, you must also understand the current landscape of payment industry players, including issuers, acquirers, processors, gateway providers, and payment networks. Finally, you must possess well-honed communications skills, and be comfortable presenting to executives, customers and partners.Your Specific Responsibilities Will Include

Track payments industry trends, standards, and competition as they relate to integrated payments, ISVs, and vertical markets.Own the product strategy and roadmap of integrated payment products at Clover.Collaborate with engineering, developer relations, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and maintain the roadmap for integrated payment products.Help build business cases for new integrated payment products, services, and features.Define detailed user stories and requirements for your products and services.Collaborate closely with engineering, documentation, developer relations, quality assurance, and operations colleagues to deliver integrated payment products and services.Work with marketing staff to effectively package your products, and create marketing collateral and other materials.Train sales channels on your products and their value proposition for potential partners.Consult with ISV partners to create combined solutions that solve new merchant needs.Analyze developer feedback to continually improve their productivity, and the user experience of merchants and consumers.Define and track KPIs as it relates to partners leveraging your integrated payment products.Preferred Skills, Experience, And Education

5-7 years of experience in product management, product marketing, sales engineering, or consulting.Degree in Comp Science, Technology, or Business in related fields. MBA preferred.Experience managing developer SDKs and APIs.Experience with Agile development methodologies.Experience creating and nurturing corporate partnerships.Ability to clearly communicate complex technical specifications to clients and implementation teams.Ability to clearly communicate product descriptions, value propositions, and roadmaps to business personnel.Capability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.Travel required: An ability to travel locally and internationally on occasion.Salary Range
