To ensure the quality of these devices, Clover has several labs of Clover devices to execute test automation. This position is a hybrid role that offers a unique blend of responsibilities. The primary part of the role is that of a Lab Technician who will be working with networking, Linux, cabling, ROM flashing, racking, etc. The other part of the role is that of a Software Development Engineer in Test, who is responsible for writing test automation, setting up device pools, reporting on testing, and more. There is also a possibility of cloud work.
