Every day, hundreds of thousands of merchants process payments through Clover devices, empowering Small mom and pop stores as well as large stadiums alike.What you will be doing:Performs integrations, stress, load, regression and performance testing to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure for stability and performance.Provides Performance testing software systems support for respective business unit.Coordinates and executes the creation of Test Cases, scripts and performance test execution.Designs, develops, and executes scripts which validate, to a high degree of confidence, test cases defined within the project’s test plan.Performs automated load/performance testing across the tech stack, focusing on overall application performance - validating that application response and outputs accurately reflect business requirements.Tracks and communicates task progress, status, and key performance metrics.Reports defects found in testing diligently, promptly, and accurately, using standard defect tracking tools.Communicates effectively across multiple teams/external vendors (Operations, Project Teams, Quality Service) and different personnel (Developers, Scrum Masters, Project Managers) when required.Expected to maintain technical expertise via self-education in areas governing computer sciences, performance/load testing dictums, and Quality Assurance.Designs, develops, and executes performance test cases and scripts through analysis of product specifications and software requirements, mentoring other test team members.Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:7+ years of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer with primary focus on Performance and Stress Testing.Experience with building and maintaining performance and stress testing frameworks.Experience in functional automation testing - Android and Web.Bachelors or Masters STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), or equivalent.5+ years of software QA testing experience with black and white box functional testing.5+ years of experience in writing scripts in at least one language.Experience in working with Android and IOS devices.Experience with Android Tools - ADB, DDMS, Monkey, Memory Analyzer tool etc.Database Querying.Understanding of Languages – C++, Java, Python, Shell.Experience in using different defect tracking tools (JIRA), Proficient with MySQL/CloudSQL, Git, Jenkins, Java, Testing tools and testing methodologies, UNIX, Cloud Infrastructure – particularly GCP.Salary Range$128,800.00 - $219,000.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California.
