Ensure inventories are valued at the Lower of Cost or Market.Conduct inventory absorption tests and update standard labor and overhead rates as needed.Calculate inventory reserves for obsolescence and intracompany profit in inventory.Maintain Oracle costing including updating material standards as needed.Oversee the annual BOM and routing review process.Manage cycle count processes and annual physical inventories.Assist with month-end closing and reconciliation of inventories.Assist with quarterly and year-end financial audits.Support Plant Management with ad-hoc projects.Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in manufacturing cost accountingGeneral knowledge of ERP systemsExcellent computer skills (including MS Excel)Oracle experience would be a plus but is not requiredEffective communication skills (both verbal and written)Education and Degree Type

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required

Required Certifications & Licenses

CPA - Would be a plus but is not required
