About The Team

What is one of the most impactful ingredients for helping Workday users derive next-level, generation-defining insights and predictions? Data.

What is one of Workday’s most critical assets that we must respect, defend, and secure? Data.

What does Workday and its users need to survive, adapt, and excel in a constantly evolving world? Data!

Today, this data engineering journey is most relevant to Machine Learning at Workday. One of the Data as a Service team’s initiatives includes collecting metrics about ML efficiency and accuracy which are then used to guide ML feature investments. As ML use cases across Workday are growing at an alarming rate, the DaaS team must improve metric onboarding efficiency and metric accuracy for these use cases. Using this data, Workday can make the right decisions about the future of ML and how it affects the way people think about their work days.

The Data as a Service team strives to provide industry-leading solutions to data engineering problems for Workday developers and Workday customers. We are made up of an eclectic group of dedicated individuals who pull experience from almost every corner of Workday and some of today’s top tech companies. We take great pride in being relentlessly innovative, intensely encouraging, and persistently positive.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.

Are you being referred to one of our roles? If so, ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process!
