The primary responsibility for this role is to leverage modern data analytics and business intelligence tools to drive insights and inform decision-making.ResponsibilitiesUtilize modern data analytics tools such as R, SQL, and Python, among others, to analyze complex data sets.Develop and maintain data models to support data analysis and business intelligence.Create, deploy, and manage Power BI reports and dashboards for data visualization and insights.Develop Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) code from different data sources to consolidate and structure data for reporting purposes.Conduct data mining and predictive analysis to identify trends and patterns.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.Ensure data accuracy and integrity in analytics and reporting.Continuously explore new data analysis techniques and tools to enhance business intelligence capabilities.Minimum QualificationsMaster's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education (13 years total).A minimum of 5 years of experience in data science or a related field.Proficiency in using data analytics tools such as R, SAS, SQL, and Python.Experienced in data modeling and business intelligence development, particularly with Power BI.Experienced in developing Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) code.Strong background in statistical analysis and predictive modeling.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Preferred QualificationsCertifications in data science, business intelligence tools, or related areas.Experience working in a federal contracting environment, particularly with the Department of Veterans Affairs.Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.EligibilityMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.CompensationSalary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.Salary range:
