DescriptionTotal Wine & More is looking for a Business Analyst to join the Store Operations department and work

onsite

in Bethesda, Maryland. You will oversee compliance, operational projects, and support company initiatives in relation to Store Operations. You will be a conduit between the Field and the Store Support Center and have a working knowledge of Total Wine & More operating and/or inventory systems. Internally, your title will be called Sr. Business Analyst, Store Operations. You will report to the Manager of Store Operations.You will:Work with business partners to create processes and documentation to improve efficiencies and meet compliance requirementsManage priorities to deliver strategic, cross-functional, and highly visible projects within time, cost, scope, with requirements to improve efficiencyTranslate financial and operational data into actionable insights for Store Operations projectsDevelop store communications that are accurate, clear, and concise to instruct, collect, or inform of store operating proceduresPromote communication and cross collaboration between departments to drive resultsCreate training materials, such as quick reference guides, discussion guides, eLearning content, and PowerPoint presentationsMonitor, evaluate, and continuously assess procedures to improve store efficiencies and sustainabilityGenerate reports to track compliance and other processesAddress customer inquiries and analyze issues and roadblocks to offer appropriate solutionsYou will come with:A BA/BS degree or 3 years relevant experience3+ years of experience in the ASM role at Total Wine & More OR as a Business Analyst of Operational process and policies (for any corporation)Ability to actively participate and communicate effectively in training sessions, meetings, and presentations in person and through email, telephone, and conference callsStrong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage conflicting prioritiesStrong attention to detail and the ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environmentStrong writing and interpersonal skills and ability to analyze compliance questions and develop clear and reliable answersStrong quantitative, statistical, and data analysis skills with ability to identify and solve problemsAbility to think strategically, anticipate roadblocks, and recommend effective implementation plans designed to drive resultsA strong, self-directed and highly driven business sense and professional presenceIntermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel (to perform data analysis and report development), Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and TeamsUnderstanding of querying relational databases using MS Access or SQL (experience is a plus)Project management certification or knowledge of project management best practices and/or tools (e.g., PMBOK, CMM) is a plusPhysical Requirements (with or without accommodations):Ability to travelAbility to lift a minimum of 30lbsAbility to climb a ladderAbility to work some nights and weekends (if necessary) to meet deadlinesWe offer:Paid Time Off (PTO)Generous store discountsHealth care plans (medical, prescription, dental, vision)401(k), HSA, FSA, Pre-tax commuter benefitsDisability & life insurance coveragePaid parental leavePet insuranceCritical illness and accident insuranceDiscounted home and auto insuranceCollege tuition assistanceCareer development & product trainingConsumer classes& More!Grow with us:Total Wine & More is the country's largest independent retailer of fine wine, beer and spirits, and we continue to grow our footprint year over year.
