People| Excellence | Change | Integrity | Co-prosperityThis position will be responsible for partnering with channel orders, retail merchandising, supply chain management, and GOC (HQ) to establish and execute device deployment for iconic and non-iconic device launches as well as ad hoc project requests. Expectations include managing the forecasting, internal request processes, and partnering with distribution to coordinate shipments. In addition, this position will partner with their Retail Supply Chain peers on the financial, logistical, and operational oversight of our Consolidator.Responsible for procurement of displays for Samsung launches and resets (item setup, logistics, forecasting, pricing, aging)Oversee team on collaboration with internal channel partners to forecast device demand for iconic and non-iconic device launches three months prior to in-store dateCommunicate with HQ Business partners on prioritization and timing of product arrivalPartner with internal distribution partners to coordinate shipments and escalationsCollaborate with account teams and supply chain to develop and maintain an end-to-end view for all display products including those managed outside of third party warehousePartner with Sales Finance to identify when Retail (NR) MDF can be utilized for iconic device costs across all accountsKeep track of the security and device usage using MS Excel and MS Project features for all Samsung Product Launches and Store Resets throughout the year and analyze order forecast based on resultsWork with Business Planning to identify costs, plan, and schedule performance of procurement activities in SAP in accordance with business processes of the organizationAnalyze the capacity of third-party vendor warehouse for upcoming Samsung Product launches and oversee smooth implementation of product deliveryUpdate, manage and communicate weekly supply chain reporting to cross functional departments and leadershipBuild relationships and partner with the broader internal Samsung Supply Chain and Product teamMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited university8-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Business ManagementDemonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teamsStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to regularly interact with SVP audience with minimal oversight or supportSelf-starter, able to add value without specific directionStrong analytical skills and ability to communicate key takeaways through impactful story-tellingObjectively able to look at available information and make recommendationsPositive attitude and ability to adjust as changes occurDemonstrated leadership and ability to lead cross-functional partners without direct authorityPreferred Qualifications:MBA preferredLife @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/life-at-samsung/Benefits @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/benefits/Regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) have access to benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Employee Purchase Program, Tuition Assistance (after 6 months), Paid Time Off, Student Loan Program (after 6 months), Wellness Incentives, and many more.
