If you’re passionate about AI, sustainability, and empowering individuals through technology, we invite you to be part of our transformative journey.CTO Job Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of PenPal’s technology vision, aligning initiatives with company goals and industry trends.Oversee research and development, with a specific focus on advancing artificial intelligence technologies.Collaborate closely with the CEO and Design Chief to integrate technology seamlessly into our products and services.Manage the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and human-centric design.Stay at the forefront of AI and emerging technologies to ensure PenPal maintains a competitive edge.Ensure adherence to technology standards, best practices, and data security measures.CTO Qualifications/Skills:Proven experience as a CTO in a dynamic and innovative environment, preferably within a startup.Extensive knowledge and experience in AI, machine learning, and related technologies.Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.Ability to translate technical topics into business terms, fostering collaboration across diverse teams.Strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude, with a focus on aligning technology with business goals.Track record of identifying and implementing new technologies to solve complex business challenges.Education & Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Previous experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role.Experience leading complex changes, managing geographically dispersed teams, and overseeing SaaS platforms.Broad knowledge of software engineering, including languages, frameworks, and industry trends.As a crucial member of the executive team, the CTO role may require flexibility in work hours, with occasional evenings or weekends to oversee critical IT projects.
