People| Excellence | Change | Integrity | Co-Prosperity The Business Development Managers role will focus on acquiring new Healthcare business opportunities, customers, strategic partners, and solutions supporting the B2B Healthcare vertical. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by developing a network of contacts to attract new Healthcare customers, researching market trends and opportunities, product and sales projections, and forecasting revenue that align with projected sales targets. The role will be key in the development of selling near-term and long-term solutions and GTM strategies, execution of marketing approaches and collaboration on product and technical roadmaps through VOC - fact/requirements, insights and plans. This role requires deep Healthcare experience in prospecting with C-Level individuals, and closing multi-year strategic customer acquisition, customer experience, digital transformation, digital innovation, and/or product engineering engagements. As the Business development manager for Healthcare, you will individually qualify, develop, and progress the Projects within existing and new Samsung B2B account modules. You will work closely with Senior Leadership, Product Managers, Marketing, and Innovation teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive growth within Healthcare.Responsibilities:Grow SEA’s Mobile B2B revenue and market share within the Healthcare vertical.Set strategy in tight coordination with Mobile B2B Sales Leaders, Account Executives (AE), Product Management and Engineering Teams to promote growth & boost revenue.Partner with the Healthcare Managing Director to identify, prioritize, and develop go-to-market plans with emphasis shaping Healthcare, prospecting efforts, and service offerings to address critical clients’ needs within our Ideal Customer Profile, ultimately leading to multi-year, strategic engagementsBecome an industry expert with deep understanding of Samsung’s partner eco-system via consultative solution sellingUncover and solve the most strategic challenges facing CMOs, CIOs, CTOs, CNOs, and CXOs within Healthcare.Clearly articulate the value that Samsung delivers to Healthcare enterprise customers and SaaS Platform providers.Maintain strong business relationships with key Healthcare decision makers across Samsung’s Mobile B2B Customer and Partner base.Research and provide key insights on Healthcare market, patterns & trends along with competitive analysis to inform Sales and Product Teams.Identify, qualify, track and report on net new business opportunities critical to growing pipeline leading to market share and revenue growth in the B2B Healthcare vertical. (CRM)Identify Healthcare Customers mobile/technology priorities, and requirements to establish accurate solutions by which will develop proper GTM strategiesLead “Big Deal” pursuits (>$5M) in coordination with Healthcare AE’s, extended GTM teams, and or partner sales team. Pursue opportunities requiring mid- / longer-term sales cycles (12-18 months) and multiple GTM solutions across Samsung stakeholders.Lead development of win strategies, and tailored customer value propositions with Healthcare Account Executives, Product Teams and Top Industry Partners (Technology and Services).Develop and maintain industry relationships with Top Healthcare SaaS Platform providers; driving effective teaming to increase Probability of Wins through the development of strategic Solution offerings.Obtain market intelligence, competitive data, and customer buying patterns to formulate Samsung’s Position to Win within Key Healthcare target AccountsClosely collaborate with Product Management and Partner/Alliance teams to develop differentiated capabilities and provide counsel and recommendations for integrated and new solutions, along with potential M&A targets.Partner with Marketing and Management Teams to drive ‘win messaging’ into Healthcare market with internal Marketing and co-Marketing with strategic Partners.Participate in Panel/Key Note opportunities to communicate Samsung’s capabilities, relevance, value proposition and ability to solve business and mission critical challenges within Healthcare.Minimum QualificationsBachelors Science, or Business required with 8+ years of business development/sales experience in B2B healthcare industry.MBA degree highly preferred with 6+ years of business development/sales experience in B2B healthcare industry.Having mobile sales experience in B2B Markets preferred.Meticulous attention to detailOutstanding verbal communication skills; candidate must be authentic, disciplined and persuasive, and comfortable presenting to executive level audience in marketing and technologyStrong business analysis and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Microsoft Skills, emphasis on proven Excel Skills w/ ability to perform analysis and proficiency in PowerPoint to effectively communicateAbility to work collaboratively with all departments, management levels within the companyAbility to work independently, while maintaining an organized tracker of projects, programs and promotionsLife @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/life-at-samsung/Benefits @ Samsung - https://www.samsung.com/us/careers/benefits/Regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) have access to benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Employee Purchase Program, Tuition Assistance (after 6 months), Paid Time Off, Student Loan Program (after 6 months), Wellness Incentives, and many more.
