We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will generate opportunities, attract and obtain new clients, and work to create relationships throughout your territory. Your responsibilities will include generating and submitting reports, building rapport with new and existing customers within the territory, evaluating their needs, and onboarding new business. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service, strong personal skills, understands trade work, and eager to hit personal & professional goals. This role will require travel throughout the Upstate and Asheville market throughout the week.
Responsibilities
Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customersTravel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territoryMeet or exceed designated development targetsCreate and implement an effective development strategiesKeep track of all client progress through our client relationship management (CRM) programExpand the territory over time and recruit additional talent to the teamQualifications
An early riser who is ready to attack the work weekA STRONG, POSITIVE, AND WINNING attitude and ability to be persistentA leader that pushes a team to it's potentialPrevious experience in business development or sales, with presentable track record of successExcellent negotiation and customer service skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong understanding of technology and computer literacyHigh school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferredMilitary background highly encouraged
Compensation: $55,000.00 per year
The IICRC is the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, a non-profit organization for the Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Industries. The IICRC, originally named the International Institute of Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Inc. (IICUC), was founded in 1972 by Ed York. Since starting in 1972, the IICRC has evolved into a global organization with more than 49,000 active Certified Technicians and more than 6,500 Certified Firms around the world.
The IICRC is managed by its Board of Directors, which is composed of 15 industry leaders elected by the IICRC's Shareholders. The Board of Directors' function is to represent the various interests of the applicants while leading the direction of the organization. The Board of Directors meets four times per year and is tasked with the responsibility of helping shape future policies of the organization and uphold the standards that help shape the industry.
