Job Summary:Trophy Nissan, a premier automotive dealership in Mesquite, Texas, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager for our Preowned Department. This full-time, salaried position will oversee and manage the sales team in our Preowned Department and be responsible for achieving sales goals and maintaining a positive customer experience. The Sales Manager will be an integral part of our management team and will report directly to the General Manager.

Compensation & Benefits:The Sales Manager Preowned Department position offers a competitive salary in the range of $60,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience and performance. The salary will be paid semi-monthly. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicle purchases and services.

Responsibilities:- Lead, motivate and manage the sales team in the Preowned Department, setting clear sales goals and objectives to achieve monthly and yearly targets- Monitor sales performance of individual team members and provide training and coaching to improve performance- Set and maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring that all customers have a positive experience at Trophy Nissan- Collaborate with the General Manager and other department heads to develop sales strategies that align with the dealership's overall goals and objectives- Keep up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competition, and make recommendations to the General Manager to remain competitive- Oversee the pricing and inventory of Preowned vehicles, ensuring that vehicles are priced competitively and that inventory levels are well-maintained- Manage and resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner- Conduct regular sales meetings with the Preowned sales team to review performance, set goals, and identify opportunities for improvement- Hire, train, and develop new sales staff as needed, ensuring that all team members adhere to dealership policies and procedures- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales, inventory, and other relevant information for reporting to upper management

Requirements:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in auto sales, with at least 1 year in a management or supervisory role- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful sales team- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing a positive customer experience- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred- Strong knowledge and understanding of the automotive industry and market trends- Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership-specific software systems- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
