About The Role

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for the delivery of service offerings. With superior phone and customer service skills, the BDR will develop sales opportunities and/or maintain the pipeline of customers who will purchase service agreements, scheduled maintenance agreements and preventive maintenance agreements.

The Business Development Representative will follow up on targeted leads and qualify customers using the Precor Sales Process and provide solutions that meet the customer Primary Business Objectives. The incumbent will maintain opportunities, quotes, and customer agreements in Apptus, SAP, Salesforce.com and/or Magento. The Business Development Representative will work with the Regional Business Manager and Key Account Managers to achieve their personal service sales quota. The Business Development Representative- Service will train to become a Key Account Manager, BDR’s and represent the interest of the service business with the marketing team.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PRECOR

Source prospective clients and identify decision makers with targeted leads. May include cold calling, sending marketing collateral, following-up on existing leads or contacting open opportunities.Contact potential new customers and facilitate new service purchases or renewal of current customers service agreements, scheduled maintenance agreements and preventive maintenance agreements via telephone and e-mail.Emphasize benefits of Precor products and service offerings (including but not limited to new equipment purchases, service agreements, scheduled maintenance agreement and preventive maintenance agreements), to commercial equipment owners.Work with the Key Account Managers to complete the customer sales cycle by either accepting or providing leads if a service offering does not meet their needs and they are looking to purchase new equipment.Quote prices, prepare proposals and close business.Provide customers with product and service information needed to advance them to quoting stage.Follow the Precor Sales Process stages completely: Prospect, Qualify, Solution Building, Proposing, Negotiate and Close, Booked and Won.Nurturing service sales leads and collaborate with Key Account Managers on larger sales.Capture feedback from customers to help improve offerings.

YOU BRING TO PRECOR

High School Diploma or Equivalent required, Bachelor Degree preferred2+ years of experience in Tele-sales or Customer Service2+ years of experience working with SAP.2+ years of experience working with Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM system.Experience with Magento or equivalent E-commerce sourcing site preferred.Extremely proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Base Salary:

$70,000 to $80,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
