The position of

Key Account Manager

oversees and maintains solid, long-term relationships with our most important clients. The role is responsible for growing the revenue generated through the portfolio of customers, by identifying opportunities to satisfy their needs. To be successful the incumbent will be apt in building strong relationships with strategic customers by identifying needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction. The goal is to ensure sustained growth of our business to achieve long-term success. This position requires excelling at multitasking, while managing a portfolio of key accounts, without compromising on the quality of service provided.Major Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and sustain long-lasting trust relationships with a portfolio of key clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.Deliver a world class level customer experience.Coordinate on-site and web-based meetings with client teams to build rapport and acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.Serve as the main point of contact to link communication between key customers and internal teams.Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.Play an integral part in identifying opportunities that generate new sales and grow portfolio revenue.Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.Provide quotes, finalize orders, and draft agreements.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and attend trade shows.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proven experience as key account managerExperience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levelsExcellent organizational skillsAbility in problem-solving and negotiationStrong teamwork and leadership skillsExceptional customer service skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and CRM toolsTravel

Minimum – 25%Maximum - 50%Education and/or Training

BS in Engineering, Sales/Marketing or Business, or equivalent of experience and education that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities or a combination of education and experience.A minimum of 5 years related experience.Working knowledge of MS Office suite applications.
