POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' Marketing Manager, Pursuits will support the Marketing Department in leading the development of strategic business proposals and presentations, establishing, and maintaining company-wide standards for proposal development and production. This position is responsible for the creation of innovative proposals, presentations, and other materials for our construction pursuits.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

Read, review, analyze, and interpret all requirements and objectives of solicitations (e.g., RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, ITBs)Manage proposals from start to finish, including but not limited to facilitating meetings and assigning tasks to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) while managing within the deliverable timelinePrepare and compile responsive and successful proposals/deliverables, including but not limited to planning, design, compilation, and production of responses to solicitations and subsequent presentationsProduce concise yet persuasive responses to solicitations including copywriting and formattingCritically edit and proof content, including content prepared by othersTranslate technical, process, and other complex information as needed into graphical representations (e.g., flow charts, diagrams)Perform in-house production of solicitations and other deliverables as needed; oversee vendor production when neededEnsure deliverables are submitted on-time and maintain documentation providing proof of submissionMaintain proposal and support files in accordance with department standardsManage presentations, including but not limited to creating slides, working with outside vendors (e.g., animation studios), coaching of the presentation team, and operating marketing equipment during the presentationProvide support to other team members for deliverables as needed, including but not limited to gathering information, preparing resumes/fact sheets, editing, proofing, and productionAdhere to company brand standardsCollaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager, Pursuits on pursuits, pursuit process, and business development needsCollaborate with the Data Analyst to organize, update, and maintain database and marketing materials including project lists, reference lists, reference letters and personnel resumesSupervise one or more pursuit team membersHave responsibility for two or more of the following: Primary point of contact for pursuit-related deliverables for one or more regions, oversee and manage consultants, project award strategy and submissions, and case study collection strategyPerform other duties as assigned

Education And Work Experience

Expert in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookProficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign Acrobat, Illustrator, KeynoteBachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one-to-two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience5-7 years of relevant work experience, preferably with another general contractorAbility to prioritize and multi-task under strict deadlinesAbility to collaborate and communicate well with all team members including field staff and upper managementPossess a strong work ethic and exercise a high-level of maturity with a positive attitudeMust be detail-oriented with excellent organizational, writing and editing skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)Flexibility to embrace change in a rapidly changing environmentAbility to occasionally work evenings and weekends to meet project deadlinesPossess an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to think out of the boxHonor relationships with the team, clients, vendors and friends of the firmBe nice, have fun!
