Our client is looking for motivated and collaborative sales professionals to build their business development team.
The Business Development Manager's primary responsibility will be to identify qualified prospects, conduct discovery to understand needs and schedule demos of service offerings with decision makers.
Requirements• Subject matter expertise on the platform and service offerings for the independent freight brokerage market• Daily outbound calls and lead generation for potential new customers• Build relationships, conduct discovery and understand the needs of qualified prospects• Consistently meet goals for new lead qualification and opportunity creation• Collaborative spirit and passionate about bringing independent brokerages tools that facilitate growth
Desired skills and experience• Transportation / freight brokerage experience• Previous inside software sales experience is a plus• Strong sales acumen and hunter mentality• Proactive, detail oriented and creative• Strong communication and team-building skills
