We're seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to work closely with our Tech Lead designing, architecting, developing, and implementing secure and scalable critical business solutions. Stepping into this very challenging role will mean stepping into a dynamic environment. There’ll be a steep learning curve, but we believe the future belongs to those who build it.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design, architect, develop and implement secure and scalable critical business solutionsTranslate Business and User needs into technical requirements and socialize architectural designs to the appropriate stakeholdersCreate and maintain design documents, including Process and Sequence DiagramProviding technical expertise to developers, architects, and analystsEvolving the technical direction of the servicesBuild and launch products rapidly and incrementallyWrite both front-end and back-end code and build amazing features across both web & desktopDelivering quality features on time and on budget and executing against project plans and delivery commitmentsEnsuring the correct operation of the services that your team ownsWorking with your team members to manage the day-to-day development activitiesHelping in hiring engineers for your team as neededWho You Are:
7+ years of experience with Python5+ years of experience with MySQL/Maria DB5+ years of experience programming in HTML5, Javascript, and CSS3Experience with Parallel processing and Multi-threadingExperience with NoSQL (Redis/ Memcached)Web service integration using technologies such as REST, XML, JSONTechnical experience required with the following: Linux (Ubuntu, Centos, Gentoo), Apache/NGINX/Haproxy web serversExperience with Git, SvnExtensive Object-Oriented programming experienceExperience with CI/CD, AutomationExperience working with additional languages is a plus (Perl, Node.js, Php, C/C++, etc.)Work perks worth the hype:

The base salary range is: $115,000 - $130,000
The Base Pay Range for this position is based on the industry benchmark for position, function, level and the company's compensation strategies. However, final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other objective business. Convoso’s compensation package also includes equity for all eligible U.S full time roles and exceptional benefits, including generous 401k match.
