Job Summary
The NetSuite DevOps Engineer will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our NetSuite deployment. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing automation tools, and ensuring the seamless integration of NetSuite into our overall DevOps processes.
Key Responsibilities
NetSuite Configuration and Customization: Work closely with NetSuite administrators and developers to configure and customize the NetSuite platform according to business requirements.Integration Management: Develop and maintain integrations between NetSuite and other business-critical systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.Scripting and Automation: Create scripts and automation tools to streamline routine tasks, data migration, and system updates within the NetSuite environment.Release Management: Implement a robust release management process for NetSuite, ensuring smooth deployments and minimizing downtime.Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Set up monitoring tools to track the performance of NetSuite instances. Identify and address performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies.Security Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to ensure NetSuite configurations comply with security best practices and industry standards.Backup and Recovery: Implement robust backup and recovery strategies for NetSuite data to ensure data integrity and availability.User Training and Support: Provide training and support to NetSuite users, ensuring they can effectively utilize the platform and troubleshoot basic issues.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of NetSuite configurations, customizations, and integrations.Collaboration with IT Teams: Work closely with IT teams, including developers, system administrators, and database administrators, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to NetSuite within the overall IT infrastructure.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. NetSuite certifications are highly desirable.Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a specialization in NetSuite.Strong scripting skills, with proficiency in SuiteScript for NetSuite customization.Experience with NetSuite SuiteTalk API for integrations.Familiarity with NetSuite SuiteFlow for workflow automation.Knowledge of NetSuite SuiteBuilder and SuiteCloud development tools.Understanding of SDLC and DevOps best practices.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Must speak fluent English.
