Job Summary
The NetSuite Data Engineer will be responsible for creating and optimizing data architectures, pipelines, and integrations to ensure the efficient flow of data within NetSuite. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing ETL processes, and contributing to the overall data strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable and efficient data architectures within NetSuite to support the organization's data processing and analytical needs.ETL Development: Develop, implement, and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into usable formats, and load it into NetSuite.Data Integration: Collaborate with IT teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to integrate NetSuite data with other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.Performance Optimization: Optimize data pipelines and ETL processes within NetSuite to maximize efficiency, performance, and minimize latency.Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data within NetSuite.Custom Scripting: Develop and maintain SuiteScripts to address specific customization requirements and enhance NetSuite data functionality.Collaboration with Analytics Teams: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business intelligence teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.Security and Compliance: Ensure that data architectures and processes comply with security policies, regulations, and best practices.Documentation: Document data engineering processes, data flows, and configurations for knowledge sharing, transparency, and future reference.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with expertise in designing and implementing data solutions within the NetSuite environment.Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or Java.Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica).Familiarity with NetSuite SuiteTalk API, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteFlow.Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
