FOXXSTEM is actively seeking a motivated, experienced, and team-oriented Utility Inspector with Water/Wastewater experience to be located in the Washington, DC area. The inspector will be responsible for following and administering quality inspection programs and processes that ensure company and customer requirements are met. Ensures all contract documents represented by working drawings and specifications are properly executed.

Projects may include water system master plans, hydraulic distribution system modeling, water audits, water quality studies, disinfection, water systems design (water treatment plants, pump stations, etc.), water main replacement analysis, water vulnerability and emergency response, and Safe Drinking Water Program audits. Projects may also include water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, sewer overflow facilities, sanitary sewer pipelines and manholes, pump stations, transmission and/or distribution mains and support facilities.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Works under general or minimal supervision of a Construction Manager. Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties. Performs daily field inspections, documents field activities and maintains inspection records. Participates in preparing punch lists, field testing, and commissioning. Tracks quality assurance progress. Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers. Reviewing and interpreting construction plans and specifications; Assists with resolving field issues with design engineers and operation and maintenance staff; Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: + Bachelors of Science,1 - 5 years of experience inspecting water, wastewater, treatment, pipeline, pump stations, and reservoirs OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. + Experience with water and sewer conveyance and treatment projects +
