has been engaged by a non-profit Health System to assist in the recruitment of a
System Director of Patient Safety and Risk Management . This system is a non-profit, community-based, award-winning, 4-hospital, 26-clinic health system with a 260-bed Level II Trauma Center as its flagship campus. This is an opportunity to come into a
community-focused
health system and work with some of the top professionals in healthcare to help guide and improve the Risk Management and Patient Safety program. This position will join a very supportive, tight-knit team and report directly to the C-suite of the Health System. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, is a servant-leader, and is passionate about patient care. Responsibilities :
Provides leadership to a team of professionals, focused on clinical quality outcomes Provides direct oversight of the departmental staff while providing guidance to clinical staff across the system Develop and maintain systems within the organization to detect, monitor, prevent, organize, measure, investigate, report, and manage patient adverse events, incident reports, and other indicators of potential patient harm Will work closely with the Legal Department and Legal Counsel on the management of all malpractice claims. Help the system achieve goals through improving health outcomes, increasing patient and caregiver safety, and reducing preventable errors in health care processes. Benefits:

Bachelors degree required Masters degree required CPPS (Certified Professional in Patient Safety) or CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management) certification preferred 2+ years of leadership experience in Risk Management and/or Patient Safety in an Acute Hospital environment required 7+ years of related experience required About the Community:
