Audit Partner- Real Estate Expertise

Large, expanding CPA firm in NYC is seeking an Audit Partner with strong expertise in the Real Estate industry to join their growing practice.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Planning audits and taking the lead to ensure they are performed in an efficient mannerSupervising the audit team and assisting them in performing the audit in a timely mannerReviewing all necessary financial statements and related disclosures and resolving any problems noted during the audit processDeveloping a true understanding of the clients business and staying abreast of new and arising issues that might affect your clientReviewing tax issues that affect your clientsProviding the clients with high quality serviceMaintaining excellent relations with staff and clientsRemaining aware of new developments and their effect on GAAP and the firms standards and policiesHandling all clients issues and problems to the clients satisfactionPerforming cross-selling of firm services to clientsDeveloping new business and cross-sell firm services to existing client baseJob InformationThe right candidate will have:Bachelor’s degree in AccountingCPA requiredExperience working in the audit department of a large regional accounting firm, or a mid-size firm with a strong commercial real estate client baseTax experience in partnership and corporate highly preferredUnderstanding tax issues as they relate to the clientsMinimum of 1 year as an Audit Partner specializing in the Real Estate industryStrong Practice Development skills a mustAll candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.The Eppolito Group, Inc.521 5th Avenue, Suite 1700New York, NY 10175212-292-4577 (T)251-252-4577 (F)paula@eppolitogrp.com
