Real Estate Tax Senior Manager & Director

TitleWell known, National CPA firm is seeking a Real Estate Tax Partner to take a high profile role in helping to run the Real Estate Division of the tax department.Responsibilities include:Performing consulting and compliance services for corporations, partnerships and individuals with a strong emphasis on real estate partnership and REITS.Maintaining strong client relationships.Maintaining knowledge of new tax issues and general business trends that affect your client.Identifying tax planning strategies for your clients.Reviewing work prepared by staff.Supervising, training and evaluating advanced level staff.Maintaining excellent relations with staff and clients.Handling and resolving all client issues to their satisfaction.Performing cross-selling of firm services to clients.Ability to develop new business.Developing a true understanding of the clients' business and staying abreast of new and arising issues that might affect your client.Reviewing tax issues that affect your clients.Providing the clients with high quality service.Job InformationThe right candidate will have the following:BS in Accounting or related field.MS in tax a big plus.8+ years recent experience in the tax department of a CPA firm.Experience in real estate tax issues with an expertise in REITS.Experience in individual, corporate and partnership tax work.Strong team player.Ability to take control and help to run a growing department.Solid verbal and written communication skills.All candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.The Eppolito Group, Inc.521 5th Avenue, Suite 1700New York, NY 10175212-292-4577 (T)251-252-4577 (F)paula@eppolitogrp.com
