We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Provider Relations team who can bring data to life through reports and visuals to help our department understand network deficiencies and identify and report on access to care issues. The position will structure and model data, build interfaces (e.g., reports, dashboards), and give context to the data to support decision making.

The pay range for this position In Western Washington varies between $71,100.00 – $99,450.00, and for Eastern Washington varies between $60,435.00 - $84,533.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Delta Dental of Washington and Arcora Foundation intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

Ensure network access and adequacy through reporting and research.Ability to examine network data to discern patterns, trends and potential growth opportunities.Educate staff on network adequacy and reporting tools and requirements.Gather and synthesize information to provide explanations for variances in data.Examine data to discern patterns, trends and potential opportunities. Utilize this analysis to underpin decision-making and offer strategic suggestions aimed at supporting network management.Develop reports, dashboards, or other visuals to convey key messages to appropriate stakeholder groups.Conduct data analysis and interpretation, and present recommendations.Support all analytical needs for state and federal reporting requirements related to network adequacy findings.Collaborate cross functionally with internal stakeholders to deliver data results and recommendations.Develop and deliver verbal and written presentations to leadership regarding reports, as requested.Ensure the accuracy and reliability of network data and reports through regular audits and validations.Perform research and analysis to support data and respond to RFPs and other requests from vendors, clients, and business partners.Manage multiple assignments and requests concurrently, prioritizing accordingly, and deliver timely results.

Experience, skills, and education you need to succeed in the position:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

Bachelor’s degree in data science, finance, economics, business or equivalent programs and 5 years analytical experience or a combination of education and experience required.Experience building data driven visual interfaces.Demonstrated experience with SSRS, Tableau, Smartsheet, Network 360, SQL or related Business Intelligence software tools to query and manipulate structured data.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience creating reports with various reporting applications.Ability to critically review and interpret complex materials, deliver data analysis and findings, and make data driven recommendations.Experience with government reporting and data submissions preferred.Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability to successfully prioritize and execute tasks.Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to effectively work with people from a diverse set of backgrounds.Outstanding teammate, willing to invest in the success of others, effectively prioritize tasks to complete deliverables on schedule.
