Do you want to utilize your expertise in data analysis and strategic insights to drive the success of our Long-Term Strategy? We are looking for a Corporate Insights Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will establish and track metrics to analyze the Innovation Team’s performance, build and model business scenarios, and make data-informed recommendations – all in aim to evolve our enterprise strategy that covers all organizations.

The pay range for this position in Western Washington varies between $81,900.00 – $116,550.00, and for Eastern Washington varies between $67,470.00 - $96,015.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza intend to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

Essential Responsibilities include the following:

Build actionable insights and support decision-making sought at enhancing business opportunities exploration using various reporting and analytic tools (SSMS, Snowflake, Smartsheet, Tableau, SSRS) to perform statistical analysis and develop visualizations of data.

Use SSMS, Snowflake, and SQL languages to build and optimize data query scripts and stored procedures for the development of databases.

Query, scrub, prepare, and analyze data to discern patterns, trends, and potential opportunities.

Capture and synthesize information to provide explanations for variances in data.

Develop meaningful dashboards, presentations, and models to achieve operational and business goals.

Perform exploratory data analysis and develop predictive and Pro Forma modeling to track new metrics as hypotheses arise.

Define and develop key performance indicators (KPIs). Establish the scope and cadence of our reporting and KPIs in reports, dashboards, or other visuals.

Develop and deliver verbal and written presentations to leadership and other internal stakeholders, including executives and board members.

Experience, skills, and education do you need to have to succeed in the position:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

6+ years of experience applying SQL to data modeling and integration, preferably healthcare data.

Experience using data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. SSMS, SSRS, Snowflake, Excel, Tableau). Ability to develop robust analytic solutions from design/prototype through implementation.

Experience capturing requirements across multiple applications and business functions.

Ability to develop and modify queries to extract large amounts of data for standard and ad-hoc data requests.

Ability to Extract, Transform, Load data into a data warehouse. Ability to clean and organize raw data for storage and analytic use.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Experienced in self and peer reviews to ensure the integrity of work and data.

Proven track record of delivering business and data analysis preferably in a healthcare environment.

Experience presenting data insights using plain language to emphasize key points or recommendations.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively fostering productive collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree in data science, finance, economics, business, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.
