The Vice President of Product Management is a strategic leader responsible for the overall vision, strategy, and execution of our product portfolio. You will provide leadership to a team of Product Managers, Program Managers, and Project Managers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering innovative, market-driven solutions with a quality-first emphasis. You will champion a

gated SDLC (System Development Life Cycle)

approach, ensuring project management aligns with each stage. The Vice President of Product Management will report to the Chief Operations Officer.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy: Define and drive the long-term product vision and roadmap in close collaboration with business stakeholders, market research, and competitive analysis.Business Alignment: Ensure products strategically support company goals, translate business needs into product requirements, and prioritize initiatives based on business value.Leadership & Collaboration: Develop, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of product and project management professionals. Foster a collaborative environment across business, technology, and other functions.Market & Competitive Intelligence: Maintain deep awareness of market trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies to inform product direction.Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analysis, metrics, and user feedback to guide product development, optimization, and measure success.Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.Communication & Stakeholder Management: Communicate product strategy, progress, and results effectively to executives, partners, and stakeholders.Project Management Alignment with Gated SDLC:Champion the adoption of a gated SDLC methodology for all product development initiatives.Ensure clear alignment between product strategy and individual project objectives within each stage of the SDLC.Work closely with Program and Project Managers to define success criteria, track progress, and manage risks for each project at each gate.Oversee the efficient allocation of resources across the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with project priorities and timelines.About The PayBase Salary Range: $190,000 - $210,000 AnnuallyAnnual Bonus ProgramEquity401(k) Profit SharingMedical, Dental, Vision & More!Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.About YouMinimum of 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successful product launches and a strong focus on execution.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver products aligned with market opportunities.Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively across departments.Analytical and data-driven mindset, with expertise in driving user-centric product development.Experience in enterprise technology environments and agile development methodologies highly desired.
