Our team consists of problem solvers and go-getters who are dedicated to being service-oriented and solving important problems.About The RoleAs the Senior Product Manager, Financial Systems you will oversee the delivery of the strategy and roadmap of your products to achieve business outcomes and financial objectives. You will coordinate with the Business Technology (BT) organization, business leaders and financial stakeholders to set priorities, manage new development and operations while providing oversight to the product teams. This role reports to the VP - Product Management.Responsibilities IncludePromotes Grocery Outlet’s unique operating model with a framework that links adoption of change to successful business outcomesDevelop a deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendationsDevelop strong relationships and regularly communicate with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy and prioritize needsLead product strategy, planning, and life cycle management effortsMonitor business, market, and technology trends to inform product strategy and proactively propose new solutions to match company growth trajectoryEstablish product roadmaps and release plans that satisfy requirements and achieve business outcomesContribute to translating business requirements into actionable product and technical requirementsContinuously monitor and evaluate product performance and proactively champion product improvementsDetermine internal and external resources and skills required for the team to deliver on the product roadmapGuide the team to scope, plan and deliver work, applying established delivery methodologies and best practicesProactively identify and resolve blockers to achieve business objectives for the product, including technical and resourcing challenges.Ensure alignment and adherence to corporate, financial and BT standardsIncrease adoption and consumption of product capabilitiesManage investment decision making and finances for the product, taking a return-on-investment approach to increasing the value while minimizing product costsServe as product manager for multiple, related productsDefine, track, and communicate relevant KPIs for the product to measure performance and contribution to Grocery Outlet’s goals and strategyAbout The PayBase Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 AnnuallyAnnual Bonus ProgramEquity401(k) Profit SharingMedical, Dental, Vision & More!Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.About YouBachelor’s degree (or equivalent years of experience).PMP and PMI-ACP certified preferred5+ years of product management experienceRetail experience strongly preferredThrive in a start up like family-oriented environmentInterpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels within the organizationGreat at building relationships and collaborating across diverse and matrixed stakeholders and customersGreat at balancing priorities in a high growth environmentStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyExperience determining and overseeing software development initiativesExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsA strategic thinker with a strong business acumenDemonstrated success in defining and building productsAbility to communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders verbally and in writing
