5+ years hands-on experience in the design, installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multi-protocol networksActive certifications such as CCNA and/or CCNPLarge enterprise experience with a significantly complex multisite infrastructure, hospital?experience preferredFirsthand experience in configuration and administration of routing and security protocols (BGP, OSPF, IPSec, SSL, etc.)Experience with design, implementation and support of the following:Cisco and Juniper switches and routersCisco, Palo Alto, and Juniper firewallsCisco wireless controllers and access points; Cisco PrimePLUS:

LOCATION:
Hybrid; 70% onsite. Local (LOS ANGELES, CA.) candidates - required to be onsite and work at Keck's facilities as needed.

Network Engineer II
Monitors and analyzes the availability and performance of the network, ensuring that it is maintained to the highest standardsRecommends and implements solutions for network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless, and other network systems and servicesResponsible for the resolution of complex network problems; performs as an escalation resource for more junior engineers and other teams; escalates to more senior engineers and/or vendors as needed for prompt problem resolutionParticipates in incident management, asset management, change management, project management, and root cause analysis documentation and remediation.Documents the technical details of the network environment and related systems and servicesInteracts and coordinates with clients and vendors to foster a satisfying customer service relationshipParticipates in on call rotation for after-hours and weekend supportTeam player; trains and mentors new team members
