Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Define and implement Enterprise Application strategy in alignment with the overall IT and Business strategy, including roadmap and release management, and related project portfolio planningAchieve operational excellence in supporting and running applications that achieve productive business outcomesLeading functional and technical teams (internal and external staff) that continually implement, innovate and evolve EMCOR Ohmstede enterprise application platformsDevelop high performing IT teams, capabilities and strong relationships with business stakeholdersIn collaboration with other project managers, oversee project execution across a portfolio of projects ensuring effective execution, proactive handling of issues, and continual improvement in deliveryManage the department's budget and support financial planning of international locations related to enterprise applicationsMaintain procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire organizationConsult EMCOR IS Ohmstede stakeholders on best-fit, innovative applications, and support the implementation of new solutionsParticipate in business-wide meetings to represent Enterprise Applications topicsManage EMCOR Ohmstede application life cycle, including new implementations, enhancements, upgrades and retirementsTravel to other Ohmstede/EMCOR locations as neededCharacteristics and Skills:
Experience in the industrial manufacturing industry or a comparable industryExperience with Managed Services (Application Support, ERP Hosting)Experience with Vendor Contracts (Project SOWs, SLAs)Experience with Application Management (Life Cycle, Release, Change/Continuous Improvements)Hands on experience with planning, implementing and running various version of EPICOR or similar ERPExperience with implementing, operating and integration ERP with CRM, PLM, MES, Digital Marketing, e-Commerce Platforms, HRIS or other neighboring system domainsHands on experience with .Net and other programming languagesExperience with Data Management & Business IntelligenceExperience with Integration PlatformsExperience in relevant business functional areas (Design to Deploy, Plan to Make, Procure to Pay, Experience to Deliver, Quote to Cash, Financial Management)Experience with departmental forecasting and budget management (OPEX, CAPEX)Experience with modern project management methodologies (full life cycle)Understanding of SOX and other Management ControlsOccasional domestic travel maybe requiredEducation / Experience Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, master's degree preferredA minimum of ten years' experience in Enterprise Applications field with increasing responsibilities in management functions (projects, departmental)Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbalStrong business stakeholder management, people management, relationship building and consultative experience requiredStrong talent management and coachingAbility to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects at one timeExcellent problem solving and analytical skills
