Information Technology Section Manager - Enterprise ApplicationsPosting Closes: Open until filledStarting Salary: $80,912.19 annually*Information Technology Section Manager - Enterprise Applications starting compensation is negotiable based on education, knowledge, and experience up to $120,000.00 annually.**$1,000 Sign On Bonus available for qualified candidates or $5,000 Sign On Bonus available for qualified candidates with Enterprise CAD and RMS experience.General Description:The Enterprise Application Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the agency's enterprise applications. This role ensures that these applications meet business needs and are aligned with the overall IT strategy. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, particularly in manipulating data via SQL queries and scripts, and have a proven track record in managing enterprise applications within a fast-paced environment. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, AND Three (3) years of experience in systems or database administration, including writing and executing SQL queries and scripts. A strong understanding of ERP and CRM systems, PowerBI, and Data Warehouse, preferably with hands-on experience. Experience with cloud-based enterprise applications, certification in project management or relevant enterprise application certifications, familiarity with data integration tools and middleware solutions, and experience with ITIL and/or Agile Framework PREFERRED. Experience working for a Law Enforcement Agency and with Enterprise CAD and Enterprise RMS is a plus. A comparable amount of education, training, and experience may be substituted for the minimum requirements.Essential Functions: Oversees the implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications such as ERP, ECAD, ERMS, and other business-critical systems. Ensures applications are operating efficiently and effectively, and that they align with business objectives. Utilizes SQL queries and scripts to extract, manipulate, and analyze data for various business needs. Ensures data integrity and security across all enterprise applications. Develops and maintains data integration solutions between enterprise applications and other systems. Leads projects related to the enhancement and optimization of enterprise applications. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement changes. Manages project timelines, budgets, and resources. Serves as the highest escalation point for enterprise applications related issues. Provides technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise applications. Works with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues promptly. Develops and maintains documentation for applications and related processes. Leads and mentors a team of application analysts, software engineers, and data analysts. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Ensures compliance with agency policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Develops and enforces best practices for application usage, data management, and security. Attends work on a regular and consistent basis. Must adhere to Federal, State, County, and local ordinances. Strong project management skills, with experience using tools like Microsoft Project or Jira. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
