This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are interested in progressing in wealth management operations. In this role, your primary responsibility will be oversight of NEIRG’s client service, investment, and trade operations functions.Principal responsibilities: -Oversee the internal operations of firm including client service and reporting, trading operations, technology, and marketing support. Manage a team of client service, trading, and operations professionalsEnsure the reporting, trading, and CRM systems are adequately maintainedAnalyze current workflows and operational processes, recommend solutions or improvements where necessary - Lead the firm’s digital transition for existing and new clients.Optimize digital onboarding and service tools from custody partners and integrate with the firm’s current and future technology stackAct as the senior liaison on custodian relationships (Schwab, and Fidelity) and serve as an escalation point on client issues, transaction requests, account opening & closing activities Enhance and maintain internal KPIs and dashboards to evaluate firm operational performance and risk.Lead the operations discussions during monthly management meetingsWork with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure critical procedures are adhered to and information security policies are adequateRequired knowledge/skills/competencies:BS/BA in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field5+ years of experience in the investment industry with some management/oversight of investment operations or client service teams preferredProficiency in MS Office Suite.Experience working with CRM software, portfolio accounting & reporting applications, and other financial planning software is required. Addepar experience is a plusWorking knowledge of financial planning topics and strategies, and an understanding of industry rules and regulationsProven ability to implement and manage operational workflows for maximum efficiency and team productivity; ability to breakdown complex objectives into discrete steps and tasks to facilitate successful implementationExceptional communication skills, both written and oral; ability to interact up, down, and across organizationsStrong attention to detail and prioritization skills; self-motivated and entrepreneurial attitude
