The base hourly rate for this position is $18.67
This is a 2nd shift position.
This position is responsible for communicating and supporting JM core values and delivering the JM experience.
Warehouser receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products. Also reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, or electric hand truck.
Responsibilities

Show initiative in supporting safety, plant wide. Participate on committees as requiredIdentify and report any mechanical or operational difficulty with truck, car or other equipmentUses safe work practices and always reports hazardous conditionsEnsure accurate order pickingEnsure orders meet shipping and receiving deadlinesEnsure high quality loading workmanshipMaximize FIFO and reduce scrap costMaximize storage space for finish good materials and staging areaAchieve company objectives and both internal and external customer expectationsEnsure storage and distribution meet high housekeeping standardsEnsure department's continuous compliance with internal and external policies and proceduresAssist in cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and metrics are metEnsure proper operation of equipment and housekeeping standards are maintained and filedComplete special projects directed by distribution center manager and senior managementAssist with all receiving and shipping functionsLeadership Responsibilities:

High School Diploma requiredMinimum of 1 year experience in warehouse and distributionForklift experience required, sit down, propane preferredAbility to load and unload flatbeds and dry vansGood communication skillsIntegrityTime managementOrganizational skillsBasic computer skillsUnderstanding of appointment systemPhysical Requirements:
The physical requirements of this position are: (these requirements are typical for most of our manufacturing roles)
The ability to stand for extended periodsThe ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.Use of hands (repetitive motion, grabbing, feeling, sensing, pulling)The ability to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environmentThe ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).The ability to withstand the rigors of working a 12(or 8)-hour rotating shift schedule.The ability to bend, stoop or kneel repetitively.The ability to reach or work above the shoulder
